Mijn naam is Camiel Derkx en met mijn ontwerpbureau zet ik me in voor maatschappelijke organisaties die een positieve impact creëren in de wereld.
Inclusie en toegankelijkheid zijn thema’s die centraal staan in alles wat ik doe, van opdrachten tot vrij werk. De komische stripboeken over de bijzondere band met mijn gehandicapte broer onderstrepen dit.
In ’s-Hertogenbosch ligt mijn hart, daar woon en werk ik met veel plezier. Na mijn opleiding aan de kunstacademie St. Joost begon ik mijn eigen ontwerpbureau in 2015. Mijn grafische expertise zet ik graag in voor organisaties met een maatschappelijke visie. Door hun (merk)verhalen te vertalen naar krachtige concepten en visuele identiteiten, maak ik de wereld een stukje mooier en beter.
Ik ben zeer betrokken en verplaats me volledig in mijn opdrachtgevers. Met mijn positieve insteek en humor bied ik een andere kijk op (zware) maatschappelijke thema’s. Zo maak ik het verschil. Als de opdrachtgever tevreden is en positieve reacties krijgt van de doelgroep, dan is mijn missie om een goed concept en ontwerp te leveren volbracht.

My name is Camiel Derkx and with my design agency I am committed to social organisations that create a positive impact in the world.
Inclusion and accessibility are themes that are central to everything I do, from assignments to free work. The comic strips about the special bond with my disabled brother underline this.
My heart is in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, where I enjoy living and working. After graduation at St. Joost art academy, I started my own design agency in 2015. I like to use my graphic expertise for organisations with a social vision. By translating their (brand) stories into powerful concepts and visual identities, I make the world a bit more beautiful and better.
I am very involved with my customers. With my positive approach and humor I offer a different view on (heavy) social themes. That’s how I make the difference. If the client is satisfied and receives positive reactions from the target group, then my mission to deliver a good concept and design is accomplished.
Studio Kars + Boom is een ontwerpstudio bestaande uit Kevin Kars en Cynthia Boom. Wij maken illustratieve installaties, producten en andere uitingen die zich als infographics laten lezen. Met onze illustraties vertellen we verhalen.
Studio Kars + Boom wil met haar kleurrijke ontwerpen ontsnappen uit de werkelijkheid. We creëren nieuwe werelden waarin we het liefste iedere dag wakker zouden willen worden. We laten je lachen, stilstaan, kijken, verwonderen en ontdekken. In onze ontwerpen zoeken we naar de geometrie in landschappen, vormen en patronen in steden, waarmee we een nieuw lijnenspel creëren. Dit doen we in ons vrije werk dat we vaak onderbrengen bij labels en het werk dat we in opdracht maken, zoals infographics, plattegronden en productontwerpen.
Labels waar we voor werken zijn; Ixxi, Ikonic Design, Kleur je kist en Mr Starksy. Verder werken we aan een installatie die getoond gaat worden in het Zuiderzeemuseum (2O21).

Studio Kars + Boom is a design studio consisting of Kevin Kars and Cynthia Boom.
We make illustrative installations, products and other expressions that can be read as infographics. We tell stories with our illustrations. Studio Kars + Boom wants to escape from reality with colorful designs. We create new worlds in which we would prefer to wake up every day. We make you laugh, stop, look, be amazed and discover. In our designs we look for the geometry in landscapes, shapes and patterns in cities, with which we create a new interplay of lines. We do this in our free work, which we often assign to labels and the work we make on commission, such as infographics, floor plans and product designs.
Mijn naam is Naomi Remijn en ik ben in 2O19 afgestudeerd aan het AKV st. Joost in Breda. Ik heb Grafisch en Ruimtelijk ontwerp gestudeerd. Bij mijn studie heb ik me vooral gefocussed op maatschappelijke thema’s. Daarnaast heb ik veel interesse in interieur en materiaal.
Het werk dat ik momenteel maak zweeft in het grijze gebied tussen kunst en design. Verschillende toepassingen ontstaan vanuit mijn fascinatie voor het interieur. Daarnaast is mijn liefde voor textiel terug te zien in mijn collecties;
– Control laat de mooie bewegingen en reactie van verschillende textiel soorten onder water zien. – Manipulation is een collectie handgemaakte, moderne wandobjecten. Het is ontstaan uit de oude techniek van textiel manipulatie. – Movement toont de schoonheid van de bewegingen die mensen maken. De beweging van twee mensen en de connectie die zij maken.

The work I am currently making floats in the gray area between art and design. Various applications arise from my fascination for the interior. In addition, my love for textiles is reflected in my collections;
