Mijn naam is Naomi Remijn en ik ben in 2O19 afgestudeerd aan het AKV st. Joost in Breda. Ik heb Grafisch en Ruimtelijk ontwerp gestudeerd. Bij mijn studie heb ik me vooral gefocussed op maatschappelijke thema’s. Daarnaast heb ik veel interesse in interieur en materiaal.

Het werk dat ik momenteel maak zweeft in het grijze gebied tussen kunst en design. Verschillende toepassingen ontstaan vanuit mijn fascinatie voor het interieur. Daarnaast is mijn liefde voor textiel terug te zien in mijn collecties;

– Control laat de mooie bewegingen en reactie van verschillende textiel soorten onder water zien.
– Manipulation is een collectie handgemaakte, moderne wandobjecten. Het is ontstaan uit de oude techniek van textiel manipulatie.
– Movement toont de schoonheid van de bewegingen die mensen maken. De beweging van twee mensen en de connectie die zij maken.

My name is Naomi Remijn and I graduated at AKV st. Joost in Breda in the summer of 2O19. I have studied Graphic and Spatial Design. During my studies I mainly focused on social issues. I am also very interested in interior and material.

The work I am currently making floats in the gray area between art and design. Various applications arise from my fascination for the interior. In addition, my love for textiles is reflected in my collections;
